Melissa Hargreaves

Founder

In 2014, Melissa founded Peace of Mind Property Management to help property owners become successful landlords. As a REALTOR® and property owner herself, Melissa knows what good property management entails. She has owned and managed her own properties since 2009. As she leads the Peace of Mind team, her goal is to make sure that you receive exceptional customer service and enjoy a stress-free, profitable experience as a landlord. When Melissa is not busy with property management, she still finds time to invest in rental properties herself. She also enjoys spending time with her two children, Isabelle and Jacob, and their two dogs, Lucy and Molly. Melissa’s family enjoys traveling, staying active in sports, and volunteering. Balinda Davis

Administrative Assistant

Balinda joined the Peace of Mind team in August of 2020 as our administrative assistant. When you call our office, Balinda’s friendly voice will usually be the one to greet you. Whenever tenants or landlords reach out with questions or concerns, Balinda is the one who assists in getting their concern addressed quickly and efficiently. You’ll also be hearing from Balinda when rent is not paid on time. She reaches out to tenants with outstanding balances every month to assist them in getting their accounts paid in full and on time. Chris Meldrom

Leasing Agent

Chris joined the Peace of Mind team in August of 2020 as our leasing agent. As a licensed REALTOR®, Chris is able to market our clients’ listings on the Multiple List Service through Corner House Realty. Our clients love Chris’ professional demeanor and his ability to expertly market their vacant listings. Chris takes a proactive approach to tenant turnovers by meeting with current tenants to discuss the process of marketing and by showing the property before they even move out. Gary Krupka

Attorney

Since 2021, Gary has worked with Peace of Mind as an attorney on retainer. Peace of Mind is always striving to add value to our customers, so his professional services are available for free to any of our landlords who need legal advice for properties that we currently manage. When it comes to representing landlords, Gary brings both business and legal experience to the table. He also has his own rental properties and is personally familiar with the most efficient and effective ways to find solutions as allowable under the law. As an experienced general practitioner and litigator, Gary has successfully tried numerous cases in the District and Circuit Courts across Maryland. If litigation is necessary, he will work with you to help protect your rental property asset and achieve the best outcome possible.


Property Managers

Our property managers are the Peace of Mind employees who visit our properties on a regular basis to ensure that routine maintenance is being done and that tenants are in compliance with their lease. Whenever work is needed, one of our professional property managers will work to gather the needed estimates and approval to ensure the work is done quickly, professionally, and for the best price.


Maintenance Team

The maintenance team at Peace of Mind works closely with our property managers to ensure that needed repairs or maintenance are handled in a timely manner. Our maintenance team also assists with move-out walkthroughs and turnover repairs. When things go wrong in the middle of the night, our tenants see the friendly face of one of our maintenance techs who will help them through whatever emergency has come up.
